Limestone College's Website Voted "Best In Cherokee County" For Third Straight Year

For the third consecutive year, Limestone College’s website has been named the best in Cherokee County by readers of The Cherokee Chronicle.

The College’s website address is www.limestone.edu. The site features information on Limestone’s Day Campus, Online & Evening Programs, and the MBA Program. It also includes recent press releases, upcoming events, giving opportunities, and more.

The newspaper’s 19th annual “Readers Choice Awards” will be released in full as part of its edition on Thursday, June 27.

Readers of The Chronicle had the opportunity starting on June 4 to vote for their favorites electronically, by phone, or by filling out a ballot published four different times in the newspaper. The ballot included 150 different businesses and services.

“We are honored to be recognized once again by the readers of The Cherokee Chronicle,” said Charles Wyatt, Limestone’s Vice President who manages the Department of Communications & Marketing that oversees the website. “Our staff members do an incredible job with website development, design, and content creation. The website is an invaluable asset for Limestone when it comes to providing information to prospective students. At the same time, it delivers a ton of information for our Saints alumni, friends of the College, and the local community. We appreciate the votes, and even more importantly, we are grateful for everyone who visits our website and connects with Limestone on a regular basis.”

Wyatt added that behind the scenes, the Communications & Marketing team is working diligently on a website redesign that is expected to debut in the fall of 2020 to coincide with Limestone’s move to university status and its 175th anniversary.

Limestone’s Facebook page – www.facebook.com/LimestoneCollege – was voted by Chronicle readers in 2016 as the best in Cherokee County. That social media page for the College recently surpassed 10,000 followers.
