  • Assistant/Associate Professor of Social Work (MSW)-Field (#392)

    Limestone University invites applications for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Social Work (MSW)-Field.

    Graduate Level Faculty (PhD or DSW required) Professor position is a 12-month appointment in a MSW program fully accredited by the Council of Social Work Education (CSWE). The primary assignment for this position includes teaching (with a special provision for teaching in support of the programs field education department), advising, recruiting, retention, professional tutoring and mentoring MSW students served by Limestone University’s Master of Social Work (MSW) Degree Program. 

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

    Limestone University Master of Social Work Program (MSW) Assistant Professor and Associate Professor(s) are considered full-time tenure track faculty positions. As such, they are required to attend a weekly MSW Development Team meeting with the Social Work Faculty/Staff. These meetings include formal minutes and set agendas. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to: Teaching assigned MSW Social Work courses, carrying a standard advising load, assisting with SASC and CSWE accreditation responsibilities, assisting with marketing Limestone University and the MSW Social Work program in all designated service areas. A PhD or DSW with an MSW from regionally accredited institutions are required. An LMSW and/or LISW is preferred. Preference will be given to individuals with five or more years of college/university teaching, marketing, and advising experience. 

    All MSW Program faculty are required to communicate on a continuing basis with the Director of the MSW Program. This may be set as a once weekly or once monthly meetings depending on the need for direction or support. All graduate faculty working for the program are required to keep office hours that allow them to meet with and advise students. Faculty are required to attend all relevant training programs for the university personnel, (such as LMS training, safety training, student evaluation training etc..). Formal Limestone University functions such as faculty orientation, faculty meetings, graduation, and service on university committees etc.., are required. Graduate faculty are included in all the program general functions and communications. Each faculty member is evaluated by the MSW Program Director at the end of each contract year. Faculty are ranked according to overall productivity on all levels including quality of teaching, quality of advising, marketing, and program participation.

    Qualifications:

    • Five years of post-graduate teaching experience

    Education and/or Experience:

    • PhD or DSW (PhD in Social Work preferred)

    The Department of Science & Mathematics seeks an Adjunct Professor for in-person and/or online Chemistry lecture and/or laboratory courses including Introductory Chemistry, General Chemistry, and/or Organic Chemistry.  This is a part-time, term contract position.  Candidates are required to have a minimum of a Master’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related field from a regionally accredited college or university.  An earned doctorate degree in appropriate field of science, university teaching experiences, experience with hybrid and/or online course delivery, and proficiency in using the Canvas LMS are preferred but not required.

    Limestone University invites applications for the Adjunct Pool for Education starting January 2023. The primary responsibilities of the people who occupy this position will include teaching graduate and/or undergraduate courses related to Elementary Education, Early Childhood, and/or Literacy. Staffing for undergraduate courses is on the main campus in Gaffney, South Carolina and graduate courses for the M.Ed. in Teacher Leadership are online. Experience using LiveText and Canvas for instruction and assessment is preferred. SCTS 4.0 Evaluator Certification preferred.

    Undergraduate Instructor Requirements: A master’s degree (M.Ed.) or higher with 18 graduate hours in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, and/or Literacy is required. K-12 public school teaching preferred.

  • Assistant Vice President of Institutional Advancement (#643)

    Limestone University invites applications for the full-time position of Assistant Vice President of Institutional Advancement.

    Position Summary:  The Assistant Vice President of Institutional Advancement will be responsible for the oversight and execution of major and planned giving, leadership giving, foundation and corporate relations, advancement services, prospect research and management, annual giving and donor relations. The Assistant Vice President of Institutional Advancement will maintain a personal portfolio of major donors, prospects, and foundations, while bringing strategic vision and discipline to the leadership, major, and planned giving programs. The Assistant Vice President will supervise team members and drive effective performance, including developing and implementing best practices and systems in advancement and promoting excellence in all aspects of advancement’s work. This position serves major gift fundraising efforts and manages a portfolio of prospects. 

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Lead the Advancement team in the planning and implementation of long- and short-term strategies to secure gifts from individuals and organizations through major, planned, and annual gifts. 
    • Work with the Vice President of Institutional Advancement to establish measurable goals to increase fundraising results. 
    • Maintain a portfolio and solicit major and planned gifts.
    • Ensure successful implementation of a planned giving program both by informing marketing and prospecting strategy as well as by personally soliciting and assisting in the solicitation of planned gift prospects.
    • Set direction and give guidance to the stewardship program to recognize donors in effective and meaningful ways.
    • Provide direction and leadership for research and prospect management, setting measurable and attainable goals and evaluating outcomes to ensure fund-raising staff have the information they need to target their work with prospective donors.
    • Mentor, train, and supervise staff members. 
    • Develop strong positive relationships with the University community 
    • Work alongside the Vice President of Institutional Advancement to establish and adhere to annual operating budgets ensuring that development programs are operating in a fiscally prudent and productive way.
    • Keep well-informed of current best practices in the Advancement profession and evaluate new and emerging ideas for potential implementation.
    • Help develop and administer policies related to fundraising and gift stewardship 
    • Launch successful campaigns for Limestone University through personal solicitations 
    • Commit to travel and off-site meetings on a weekly basis and attend weekend and evening events as needed 
    • Strong communications and marketing skills to drive messaging through print, social and online channels
    • Manage portfolio of corporate and major gift donors

Experience in managing a successful fundraising, marketing or sales team and a proven record of successful giving results. Raisers Edge experience desired, CRM experience required. 

    Computer Skills:

    • To perform the position effectively and successfully should have knowledge of Microsoft Programs, Raisers Edge and be able to perform tasks in Word and Excel. Ability to negotiate new computer programs with ease and learn new software.

    Travel:

  • Associate Registrar (#190)

    Limestone University invites applications for the full-time position of Associate Registrar.

    Position Summary

    The Associate Registrar reports directly to the Registrar. This position is the focal contact for all graduation activities, the primary liaison between the Athletics Compliance Officer and the student athletic eligibility, and all dual enrolled students. 

    The Associate Registrar acts as a resource for academic and policy information related to student records management. The Associate Registrar is responsible for the maintenance and integrity of academic records. 

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Includes the following and other duties that may be assigned:

    1. Prepares graduation audits for review by the Registrar.
    2. Reviews the grades for graduating students, and when they have completed all requirements, prepares the packet for the Registrar to certify them for graduation.
    3. Sends letter of completion for student who requires the letter to begin their graduate studies or for job promotion if they complete before the scheduled graduation date. 
    4. Advises students on their requirements for graduation and answers all questions.
    5. Prepares commencement program.
    6. Provides enrollment verifications for students as needed.
    7. Advises students on degree requirements and course schedules.
    8. Assists advisors/advisees with class registration, graduation requirements, and other academic issues that arise. 
    9. Assists the Registrar with updating the Prerequisite Table in Jenzabar.
    10. Processes credit by examination requests and provides approval to the student and Testing Center. Updates AP policy annually.
    11. Responds to concerns or inquiries from faculty and staff members, advisors, students, and parents. 
    12. Performs registration for incoming transfer students. 
    13. Assists with articulating transfer students’ files and inputting credit into Jenzabar.
    14. Processes transcript requests through the National Student Clearinghouse and verifies education records through NSC.
    15. Acts as a backup to Registrar as needed.

  • Assistant Director of Advancement Services (#638)

    Limestone University invites applications for the full-time position of Assistant Director of Advancement Services.

    Position Summary:  The Assistant Director of Advancement Services’ main responsibilities include accurately recording and processing donations to support the institution's fundraising efforts, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and efficiency in financial transactions. Additionally, they will manage donor database records, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information to support effective donor stewardship and communication strategies in collaboration with various teams across the University. The role will support most data collection and analytics processes, as well as reporting needs in partnership with the Director of Advancement Services. This position is full-time on-campus in Gaffney, SC.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Manage and ensure integrity of the Raisers Edge NXT database
      • Maintain and adhere to set policy and procedures for data entry and database use
      • Update and create new constituent records
      • Create new events and registration forms
      • Manage email queues and registration statuses
      • Maintain event attendance lists/RSVP responses from online forms in event module
    • Gift management
      • Enter gifts via batches or one-off from donors on a regular basis
      • Generate tax receipts and acknowledgement letters within 48 hours of gift
      • Continuously adhere to gift acceptance policies and procedures
      • Audit and reconcile monthly giving with University Business Office
    • Generate reports concerning giving by constituents and statistics on constituents, as well as giving and fund performance
    • Membership management and stewardship activities
    • Generate reports and maintain accurate lists for giving societies and memberships

  • Mental Health Counselor (#123)

    Limestone University invites applications for a full-time position of Mental Health Counselor 

    Position Summary: The Sibs Collins Counseling Center provides accessible, equitable, inclusive short-term mental health counseling for the Limestone community. The counselor will work alongside the Director to support students developing insight, personal growth and resilience skill to aid in the achievement of the personal, educational and career goals. The counselor will work a diverse population and a broad spectrum of emotional, psychological, developmental, social, and academic concerns. The counselor will respond to students and campus-wide crises on an on-call rotation. As a member of the Counseling Services team, this position reports to the Director of Counseling Services and is a part of the Student Success Division.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

    • Provide counseling services to enrolled students, faculty and staff.
    • Conduct intake, triage, and crisis appointments.
    • Complete treatment plans, progress notes, and other documentation
    • Conduct small-group and campus-wide educational outreach and consultation.
    • Serve as a liaison to various university areas and constituencies as assigned.
    • Maintain records and ensure the confidentiality of private health information in keeping with professional ethics and best practices.
      • Provide both in-person and telehealth counseling services.
      • Provide daytime crisis intervention, emergency, and on-call services.
      • Coordinate care between Counseling Services and other campus departments and community resources, meeting the needs of students and ensuring continuity of care.

    Education and Experience:

    Required qualifications:

    · Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Counselor Education, Sports Psychology, or a related field.

    · Minimum of two years of professional counseling experience

    · Licensed or licensure eligible in the state of South Carolina (if not yet licensed, licensure must be achieved within a year of the date of employment).

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Licensed Clinical Mental Health Professional 
    • Demonstrated experience and skills in facilitating culturally sensitive and inclusive outreach and educational programming.
    • Demonstrated experience working with college-age populations (undergraduate through graduate/professional level), preferably with athletes, veterans, first-generation students, or non-traditional students.

    • Prepare and disseminate publications related to student clubs, activities, and intramurals; Assists in preparing and editing student flyers, posters, literature, and other materials prepared by student groups for on and off-campus distribution. Implements and oversees processes for posting/distributing materials on campus as requested. 
    • Maintain and regularly publishes a calendar of activities and events that is made readily available to the Limestone University community.

    • Develop a network of potential clients and colleagues within the conference and event industry to enhance the public presence of the University as a conference site.

    Limestone University, a Division II member of the NCAA and the South Atlantic Conference (SAC), invites applications for the full-time, 12-month position of Assistant Field Hockey Coach.

    Job Overview- The successful candidate will assist the head coach in all aspects of the program, including but not limited to recruiting, overseeing the academic progress of student-athletes, scouting, coaching on the field (practice & skill development sessions), bench responsibilities during games, and other duties as needed to continue the success of the program.

    Requirements- A bachelor’s degree is required for this position. The candidate must have a commitment to and responsibility for adhering to all rules and regulations of Limestone University, South Atlantic Conference (SAC) and the NCAA.  This candidate must have previous successful coaching experience at the NCAA level. The selected candidate must be willing to consent to and pass, with satisfactory results, an investigative consumer report.
