Business Accreditation

ACBSP - Candidate for AccreditationLimestone College’s Department of Business & Economics is currently in candidacy status with the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).  ACBSP (https://acbsp.site-ym.com) is a specialized global accreditation body folowing the Baldridge model focused on teaching excellence and continuous improvement.

In conjunction with ACBSP, the Department of Business & Economics at Limestone College is continually looking to improve our programs.  While test scores and grades are important,  we believe that one of the best assessments to measure how we are doing is to ask employers and site supervisors of our internship programs how our students and graduates are preforming.  We regularly ask these stakeholders to rate our students and graduates on a scale of 1 (very dissatisfied) to 5 (very satisfied).  Our goal is to have all 4s (satisfied) and 5s (very satisfied) with 75 to 85% ratings of very satisfied.  Below are a few of our matrices (note:  included more granular data in 2013):

Percent of Employers Satisfied with the Quality of Work of Limestone Students/Graduates Percent of Employers satisfied with Limestone Student/Graduate’s Depth of Knowledge Percent of Employers satisfied with Limestone Student/Graduate’s Ability to Follow Instructions Percent of Employers satisfied with Limestone Student/Graduate’s People Skills
