Renewal Credit Approval Procedures

  1. Educator completes activities aligned with their professional growth plan, the school’s goals, or the improvement of their employment position’s functions.
  2. Educator obtains appropriate verification documentation as specified in the Renewal Credit Matrix or by the Renewal Coordinator when the activity was approved.
  3. After earning 120 renewal credits, the educator completes the Renewal Computation Sheet and attaches all verification forms and documentation.
  4. The Renewal Computation Sheet and required documentation are submitted to the Renewal Coordinator.
  5. The Renewal Coordinator will review the educator’s documentation and sign the Renewal Computation Sheet if all listed activities are approved for renewal credit.
  6. The Renewal Coordinator will submit the signed Renewal Computation Sheet to the Office of Educator Services’ Renewal Coordinator for processing.
