Wrestling Comes up Short Against the Wolves

Limestone Wrestling traveled to Newberry to take on the Newberry College Wolves. Trey Finnearty claimed the first bout with a quick pin halfway through the first period, earning 6 team points. Daiyan Heard defeated Ethan McCullough in a bout that went the distance; after three periods, Heard came out on top, earning Limestone 3 team points. Limestone dropped the next bout, but Brandon Seawright got the Saints back on track with a major decision win, earning 4 team points. The Saints, however, dropped the remaining bouts and ultimately fell to Newberry with a final score of 35-13. The Saints fall to 1-6 overall and 1-5 in the conference. Newberry stands at 5-7 overall and 4-3 in the conference.

Limestone Women’s Basketball Stays Hot at Home

The Limestone University Women's Basketball team delivered on the back of Sunday's win, with yet another dominant performance. The Lady Saints took care of Newberry 78-59 in tonight's South Atlantic Conference matchup at the Timken Center. With this win, the Saints improve to 8-8 (4-8 SAC), while the Wolves drop to 5-10 (4-7 SAC).

Men's Basketball Defeats the Wasps at Home 91-72

Limestone men's basketball takes down the Wasps at home in a South Atlantic Conference basketball game in Timken Center with an impressive final score of (91-72). The Saints improve to a record of (7-8,4-7 SAC), as the Emory & Henry moves to a record of (4-11,2-9 SAC).

Limestone Basketball Games Rescheduled Due to Weather

In light of the forecasted inclement weather and the potential for hazardous travel conditions, the home basketball games scheduled for Saturday have been postponed. To ensure the safety of all players, staff, and fans, the games will now take place on Sunday, January 12th. The women's game will tip off at 2 PM, followed by the men's game at 4 PM.
