Limestone Moves To School Colors For Graduation Caps & Gowns

Pictured here is a sample of the new graduation caps and gowns that will be used by Limestone College beginning with the upcoming May 10 commencement exercises.

Instead of the black academic regalia traditionally used for students in the past, Limestone is moving to its school colors for caps and gowns going forward. The new regalia will include blue caps and gowns, with the Limestone logo embroidered in gold on the left chest of the robes. The new tassels will feature both blue and gold colors, instead of only the gold used in the past.

GRADUATION CEREMONY REMINDERS:

• All graduates will be provided four (4) tickets for the respective commencement ceremonies on May 10. The College will also offer overflow seating on campus where visitors can view the commencements live via video stream. The ceremonies will also be live-streamed through Limestone’s YouTube channel for those wishing to view graduations off campus. In addition, the ceremonies will be archived for later viewing. Those YouTube channel direct links for the ceremonies will be provided at a later date closer to May 10.

• Limestone has landed the state’s top elected official as its guest speaker for this spring’s graduation ceremonies. South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster will take the podium at Limestone’s upcoming commencements on Friday, May 10. McMaster is scheduled to speak at both Limestone graduation ceremonies inside Fullerton Auditorium, one starting at 10:45 a.m. and the other beginning at 2:45 p.m.

• On May 10, Limestone will first hold a graduation ceremony for its Arts & Humanities Division and Education & Behavioral Sciences Division. That will be followed by a commencement for its Natural/Health Sciences Division and Business & Professional Studies Division.

• Upcoming graduates who have questions about the ceremonies are asked to please contact the Limestone College Registrar’s Office.
