This 60-day course of study in the public schools allows physical education teacher candidates to combine theory and practice in the classroom under the guidance of the classroom teacher. One half of the teacher candidate teaching experience will take place in a secondary setting, with the other half in an elementary setting. The ADEPT process is used to evaluate the teaching candidate's teaching experience. Students supply own transportation. Prerequisites: Passing Praxis Subject Assessment and the PLT, and admittance to Teacher Education Program. Co-requisite: Physical Education 453. Grading is on a Pass/Fail basis. Credit, 12 hours.
