| Limestone Welcomes Alumni Back April 16-18 |

6:30 p.m.; Shindig at the Cabin (On North Limestone Street between City Hall and First Baptist Church) In conjunction with the City of Gaffney's "Shindig at the Cabin," Limestone kicks off its 2010 Alumni Weekend and the entire Cherokee community is invited to take part in the block-party style celebration which is an inviting venue for people to visit friends and classmates. Limestone will provide food from Daddy Joe's BBQ for college alumni and faculty/staff attending the event. Catering for the general public will be provided at a separate location. Charlotte-based band "Nightshift featuring Sammy O'Banion" will perform at the Shindig, and will entertain the crowd with their mix of 60's, beach, Motown and country music. Cost per plate is only $5.00 (barbecue, side items, dessert, tea/water); however, because food is limited, advance tickets can be purchased by calling (864) 488-4602. Saturday, April 17 2:30 p.m.; Alumni Band and Chorus Concert; Fullerton Auditorium; Free and Open to the Public Anyone wishing to attend any of these events is asked to contact the Limestone Alumni Programs office at 864.488.4602. |
