Do I have to attend classes in a certain location?

Students can attend classes on the Limestone College day campus in Gaffney, at any Extended Campus location or take Extended Campus Internet online classes.

Is there a limit on how many grants a student can receive?

If the student’s company participates in the program and the student meets the requirements each semester, he or she is eligible to receive the grant each semester for as long as the Corporate Grant program continues.

Can a student receive financial aid and still participate?

Yes. Students should apply for any state or federal financial aid for which they believe they are eligible. Limestone participates in all state and federal financial aid programs. The Corporate Grant tuition credit may affect your total financial aid package.

What are the requirements for a student to receive the Corporate Grant?

To receive the Corporate Grant, a student must be considered full-time and successfully complete 12 hours each semester for Undergraduate programs or 8 hours each semester for the MBA program. A fail, incomplete or withdrawal from a class does not qualify.

A full-time student is described as:
  • An Undergraduate Student successfully earning 12 Hours per semester. Two courses (6 credit hours) can be taken each 8-week term. Three terms constitute a semester.
  • A Graduate Student successfully earning 8 Hours per semester. One course (3 credit hours) is taken each 8-week term. Three terms constitute a semester.

As a student, how do I participate in the Corporate Grant program?

You must submit a letter from your employer that confirms that you are an employee of that company. A company letter that indicates that you will receive tuition reimbursement can also serve as verification. The Corporate Grant is not available to those who already qualify for a military tuition discount.

When will I receive credit for the Corporate Grant?

You will receive a credit on your account at the end of each Spring and Fall Semester. You can access your Account History through the LC Portal to view your account charges and credits.
