Extended Campus Office Administrative Assistant

Limestone College invites applications for the position of Extended Campus Office Administrative Assistant, on the Main Campus in Gaffney, SC.  This position will report directly to the Dean for Extended Campus Programs, but will perform administrative/clerical duties for the Directors of the Extended Campus Programs, specifically the Director of Extended Campus Internet, Director of the Extended Campus Classroom, and the Director of Strategic Marketing.

The Administrative Assistant will answer and appropriately route incoming calls, files and records, manage office and inventory of office supply items, process requests for payment of invoices, reconciliation of staff credit card statements, and maintain tracking reports for all EC budget expenses. Assists the Directors in travel arrangements and expenses for all EC staff travel, including reservations for and maintenance of the EC vehicles.  Performs other duties as assigned by the EC Directors and the Dean.

A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.  Effective organizational skills as well as excellent communication skills are a must.  This person should be able to multi-task and work well under pressure.  Candidate should possess above average competency in written and spoken English.  The candidate must be competent in Microsoft Office and proficiency in specialized College software (e.g., Jenzabar, JRM, etc.) is a plus.

Job Overview- The successful candidate will function as part of Limestone Counseling Services. The individual will interface with professionals and students by providing personal counseling for both individual and group settings; Training/teaching assignments may be included. Job Overview - The Office of Public Safety at Limestone College has an opening for the position of Public Safety Officer. This position reports directly to the Chief of Public Safety.  Duties include patrolling campus, screening visitors and other activities related to the safety and security of College property, employees, and community. Maintains order and prevents the unlawful use of force or violence, or any unlawful conduct on campus; enforces federal and state laws as well as county and city ordinances, and College rules and regulations.
