Instructor of Physical Education and Athletic Training (#33)

Limestone College, a small liberal arts college, member of NCAA Division II and Conference Carolinas, invites applications for the position of a full-time, tenure-track Instructor of Physical Education and Athletic Training in the CAATE accredited undergraduate Athletic Training Program.   Position starting date is August 2014.  Responsibilities include: teaching undergraduate athletic training and physical education courses, course and curriculum development, administrative tasks and record-keeping within the Athletic Training Program, the supervision and evaluation of practicum and intern students, academic advisement, and involvement with College committees.  Qualifications: All applicants must possess a Master’s degree in a related field, be a BOC certified athletic trainer for at least three years, and eligible for South Carolina State Certification.  Previous experience in a CAATE accredited Athletic Training Program is preferred.

Online Adjunct Faculty

Limestone College invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach online undergraduate courses in the subject areas listed below.  An appropriate terminal degree (Ph.D.) from an accredited school is required and private sector experience is desirable.  Computer skills are a must and experience using Blackboard or other online platforms is desirable.  Applications will be retained and when appropriate courses are available adjunct faculty will be scheduled for training and course instruction.

Social Work Preceptor

Limestone College invites applications for a Social Work Preceptor for the Gaffney, South Carolina Site.  Responsibilities include: teaching a Social Work course load of 24credit hours pre year at the undergraduate level, carrying a standard advising load, help with CSWE accreditation work and assisting with marketing the program in the greater Gaffney, South Carolina area.  Requirements:  An earned Master of Social Work (MSW) from a regionally accredited institution.  A LMSW or LISW is preferred. Preference will be given to individuals with five or more years of college teaching, marketing and advising experience.
