Members of the Limestone Women's Volleyball Team do their part in preparing hunger relief meals destined for Nicaragua.

During orientation week, Limestone College students joined with the Gaffney Rotary Club in preparing 100,020 hunger relief meals that are on their way to Nicaraguan orphanages and shelters.

The Class of 2016 officially became members of the Limestone College family as they checked-in on Friday, August 17.


Over the course of the next few days, they will enjoy cookouts on campus, personal meetings with Limestone President Dr. Walt Griffin, and various workshops. On Monday, they'll experience the Limestone tradition of helping others by preparing 100,000 hunger relief meals for the Stop Hunger Now! Organization.

Dr. Albert Spencer, Professor of Physical Education at Limestone College, was interviewed recently by China Radio International (Beijing) for their news/talk program "People in the Know."

Dr. Spencer was a featured guest for a segment regarding ethics in Olympic sports.
