LIMESTONE THEATRE TO PRESENT "REASONS TO BE PRETTY" OCT. 17-19

Cultural ideas of beauty will be examined when Limestone College Theatre presents the play “Reasons To Be Pretty” during three performances Oct. 17-19.

The production is being directed by Dr. Timothy Baxter-Ferguson, the Theatre Department Chair, who is also a Professor of Theatre and English at Limestone College.

“Reasons To Be Pretty” is a Broadway play by Neil LaBute. The plot centers on four young working class friends and lovers who become increasingly dissatisfied with their dead-end lives and each other. The Broadway production was nominated for three Tony Awards, including “Best Play.”

LIMESTONE STUDENTS INCORPORATING FITNESS INTO LESSON PLANS

pe4 60Limestone College's Elementary Education PE 315 students are currently learning how to design lesson plans in any discipline while incorporating any physical activity, movement, fitness education principles or sports skills.  The class is being taught by Dr. Maria Felicia Cavallini, Professor of Kinesiology, Physical Education department.
