This broad major intends to orient you to psychology as a whole. Students will learn about the science of mind and behavior, individual and group behavior, the physical and environmental bases of behavior, and the analysis and treatment of behavior problems and disorders. This major relies heavily on exploring various theories while looking at new research and techniques. The program instructs students in psychological principles and methods, provides the knowledge and skills required at the graduate level, and offers the background needed to prepare for careers in possible professions as diverse as medicine, law, business, education, human resources, and others.

Psychology Online Degree Program

The Psychology degree program is available online. Online programs have the same content and curriculum as traditional on-campus programs. All coursework, including lectures, assignments, and exams, is available through the Canvas online learning system.

Online programs are asynchronous, which means there are no specific times you must be online. Professors and other instructors are available during virtual “office hours” for discussion. The programs are designed to allow you to focus on two courses in eight-week terms.
