Limestone's Accreditation Reaffirmed For Another 10 Years

Limestone College officials have announced that the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), the governing body that helps to uphold the educational quality of degree-granting institutions throughout the South, has reaffirmed Limestone’s accreditation for an additional 10 years.

Limestone To Begin Offering Master Of Social Work Degree

Limestone College’s second graduate-level degree program is officially on the way.

Plans are being finalized to add an online Master of Social Work (MSW) program that is expected to begin in the summer of 2020. Limestone has offered an online Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree since 2012.

"SaintsGiving" Generates 6-Figure Investment In Limestone College Students

Limestone College’s sixth annual “SaintsGiving” event was deemed a tremendous success as over $100,000 was raised recently to support numerous areas of the institution. 

A total of $100,852, including gifts and pledges, was raised during the event that concluded at midnight on Tuesday, Dec. 3, according to Kelly Curtis, Limestone’s Vice President for Institutional Advancement.

In all, 126 donors contributed to 34 different funds, with much of the support assisting Limestone’s many scholarship programs.

Tommy Martin Honorary Degree

Journalist Tommy Martin To Receive Honorary Limestone Degree

Local journalist and former Board of Trustees member Tommy E. Martin will be recognized with an honorary Doctorial degree during one of Limestone College’s upcoming graduation ceremonies.

Limestone’s Board of Trustees recently voted unanimously to bestow the Honorary Doctor of Public Service degree upon Martin during the first of two ceremonies planned inside Fullerton Auditorium on Saturday, Dec. 14.

SaintsGiving 2019

"SaintsGiving" Coming To Limestone College On Tuesday, December 3

Alumni and friends of Limestone will have the opportunity to support the College during its “SaintsGiving” campaign on Tuesday, Dec. 3.

As part of the national "Giving Tuesday" initiative, Limestone will host its sixth annual “SaintsGiving” as a way to celebrate generosity and to encourage giving.

The focus of this year’s “SaintsGiving” is donor participation.
