Limestone's Luke Holt Takes Part In National Voice Competition

Limestone College student Luke Holt took part in the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) National Voice Competition on Friday, July 21, in Boulder, CO.

Holt advanced into the national competition in Colorado by winning first place in his category at the NATS Mid-Atlantic Regional vocal competition hosted by the University of North Carolina Music Department on March 17 in Chapel Hill. He then had to progress out of a video round to make it to the nationals.

Holt is a rising junior from Columbia also pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. While at the Mid-Atlantic Regional, he also performed in the event’s Honors Recital.

Limestone student J.R. Bloomer also won first place in his category at the NATS Mid-Atlantic Regional in March. Bloomer is a rising sophomore from Gaffney pursuing a BFA. He also performed in the Honors Recital.
