Limestone University’s Computer Science-Information Technology online program was recently ranked as one of the finest in the nation by an online publication.

The website OnlineU just ranked Limestone’s Information Technology program as the 14th best in the United States. Of the 19 institutions named on the list, Limestone was the only one from the Carolinas.

The list is based on median post-graduate salary data of over 450,000 alumni across the country, sourced from the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard. Limestone’s Information Technology program ranks as a top online degree program for 10-year return on investment.

Limestone’s online Bachelor of Science in Computer Science-Information Technology program focuses on the knowledge and practices students need for careers as IT managers, database analysts, technology risk analysts, support technicians, and in a range of other IT professions. Courses in the program include Microcomputer Applications, Internet Databases, Project Management, and Legal Issues in Technology. Students must also complete a capstone project to graduate.

Online courses are delivered in accelerated eight-week terms and are tailored to the needs of adult learners. Coursework is accessed through the Canvas learning management system. To help students cover the cost of this program, Limestone has a financial aid office that provides information about grants, loans, and scholarships, as well as tuition payment plans. Once students complete their degree, they can join an industry expected to grow by 11 percent between 2018 and 2028.
