Limestone University Ranked No. 13 For “Best Value Colleges” In South Carolina

Limestone University was recently ranked as the No. 13 “Best Value College” in South Carolina, according to Research.com.

On the list of 34 institutions, Limestone ranked ahead of many other private institutions in the Palmetto State, including Converse (14), Furman (15), Columbia International (16), Coker (17), Presbyterian (18), Wofford (19), Charleston Southern (21), North Greenville (23), Erskine (24), Anderson (25), Claflin (26), Allen (27), Spartanburg Methodist (31), and Benedict (33).

Limestone also ranked ahead of several well-known public institutions, including USC-Upstate (20), Lander (22), USC-Sumter (28), USC-Union (29), The Citadel (30), and USC-Lancaster (34).

Clemson University topped the rankings within the state of South Carolina for 2023, while Limestone made an appearance as one of only four private schools ranked within the Top 13.

Research.com aims to help the scientific community by offering quality research while also giving researchers better exposure to their achievements. Touting itself as a “platform created by scientists for scientists,” it offers a vast database and rankings of academic conferences, journals, and researchers, as well as its rankings of universities.

The website’s rankings are based on data collected from renowned sources such as the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) and College Scorecard, as well as questionnaires submitted by universities, the analysis of 400-plus metrics for each institution, and a novel methodology that reduces arbitrariness and makes its ranking more robust.
