Limestone University Campus In Gaffney Closed/E-Learning Day For Students: Friday, Sept. 30, 2022

Due to anticipated inclement weather associated with Hurricane/Tropical Storm Ian, the Limestone University campus in Gaffney will be closed on Friday, Sept. 30, and it will be an E-Learning Day for students.

The University will offer classes through its virtual learning platform, Canvas. There will be no in-person classes. Students are expected to log-in to Canvas to receive instruction from their professors.

Friday’s closure will not impact games or other activities scheduled for today, Thursday, Sept. 29.

Essential campus operations like food service, housing, Campus Police, and virtual academic support services will continue throughout the closure. Essential staff members are required to report to campus. Employees should check with their respective supervisors for additional details. 

Normal operating hours will resume on Monday, October 3. Any updates will be announced through the Limestone Emergency Alert System (text, email, phone call), social media, and the University’s website.
