Miss Limestone College 2018

During the pageant at Fullerton Auditorium on Sunday, February 18, sophomore Katilyn Cook (center) was crowned “Miss Limestone College” for 2018.

Cook, a native of Moore who attended Byrnes High School, is a member of the Saints cheerleading team.

Limestone College Masters of Business Administration Director Dr. Shannon Creighton will be moderating a Young Professional Development and Success workshop at the Pique event in Taylors, South Carolina on March 22.

The Pique, hosted by Ten at the Top, aims to join young professionals from across Upstate South Carolina in an attempt to help impact the community and region.


Renowned organist Adam Ward will present a special recital on Tuesday, March 20, at 7:30 p.m. in Fullerton Auditorium as part of Limestone College’s “Reformation Reflections” series.

Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.

Ward, the Director of Music Ministries at Providence United Methodist Church in Charlotte, will play pieces from composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Felix Mendelssohn, Pierre Dumage, and Sigfrid Karg-Elert.

The popular college ranking website recently honored Limestone College’s online programs in Computer Science and Human Resource Management.

Both programs were listed in their respective “25 Best Online Bachelor’s Degrees” lists, with Computer Science ranking 14th and Human Resource Management placing 23rd. According to the website, rankings were compiled using data from College Navigator regarding tuition, as well as program information gleaned directly from each institution’s official website.

Wheeler Bryan

Wheeler Bryan, Jr., current supervisor at Sea Island Events in Sea Island, Georgia and former Limestone golfer, was recently named to the College’s Board of Trustees.

Bryan, who is filling an unexpired term, has 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, working primarily out of the Atlanta area. He graduated from Limestone in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Management and played four years on the Saints’ varsity golf team.
