Rachel Eckmann serves as a Student Success Coach for students with majors in the College of Education and Health Professionals. Rachel grew up in Waukesha, Wisconsin (near Milwaukee) before moving to Platteville, Wisconsin to complete her Bachelor of Science at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. She double majored in Chemistry and Forensic Investigation (with an emphasis in the lab) and double minored in English (with a Writing Certificate) and Business Administration. Rachel is finishing her Master of Science in Organizational Change Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and is projected to graduate in Fall 2023.
Rachel’s passion for helping students in higher education reach success started during her various student worker jobs during her undergraduate career. Most notably, she held the Student Success Programs Outreach Assistant position where she met her mentor. Rachel attributes her academic and personal success to her interactions and relationship with her mentor and hopes she can give back by helping other students in a similar way.
Rachel is a Disney-loving adult who loves spending her free time collecting new Disney items for her collection, exploring the outdoors, crafting, thrifting, and spending time with her two dogs. Her favorite character is Tigger because of their contagious energy and positivity. Rachel is thrilled to join the Limestone family and is looking forward to meeting and mentoring first-year students.”
