Saints Conclude Exhibition Competition with Loss to Division I Furman

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Facing off in exhibition play against Division I's nationally-37thranked team in Furman University, the Limestone College women's tennis team fell 4-0 in shortened play on Friday night down the road at the Mickel Tennis Center in Greenville, S.C. The match, while providing top national competition for the Saints, will not count against the Blue and Gold on its overall 2020 record.

Late Rally Not Enough as Saints Drop Series Opener to Erskine

GAFFNEY, S.C. – The Limestone College baseball team scored six unanswered runs in the late innings and had the tying run at the plate in the bottom of the ninth, but it was not enough to dig themselves out of an early 9-0 hole as Erskine College took the series opener by a 9-6 decision on Friday, February 28.

GAFFNY, S.C. – Back in action for the third time in five days, the Limestone College men's tennis team hosted Gardner-Webb University of Division I for an exhibition match on Thursday afternoon from the Emmie Evans Rector Tennis Center. The Saints recorded wins from freshman Dovy Sadauskas (Kaunas, Lithuania) in the No. 2 singles spot, as well as from the senior duo of Marcel Agbegne (Winneba, Ghana) and Pierluigi Neri (Bologna, Italy) at No. 3 doubles, before ultimately falling short by a final of 6-1, which will not count against the Blue and Gold on its overall 2020 record.

DUE WEST, S.C. – Needing just three sets to do so, the Limestone College men's volleyball team capped off a season sweep of conference foe Erskine College on Wednesday night, as the Saints cruised to a 3-0 win over the Flying Fleet to move back above .500 in league play and into fourth place in the Conference Carolinas standings.

GAFFNEY, S.C. – Junior attacks Britannie Ouimet (Westlock, Alberta) scored a season-high six goals, fellow classmate Julia Foster (Louisville, Ky.) posted five of her own, and nine different players found the back of the net for the No. 14 Limestone College women's lacrosse team on Wednesday night as the Saints torched Lander University, 20-2.

MURFREESBORO, N.C. – Led by a career-high 30 points in his final collegiate contest from senior Dylan Spriggins (Dickinson, Texas), the Limestone College men's basketball team fought toe-to-toe with Chowan University on Tuesday night throughout the final game of its 2020 campaign. In the end, the home team pulled away over the course of the final eight minutes, as the Saints wrapped up their season with a close road loss to the Hawks, 82-75.
