All Evening Program sites will be closed on Thursday, Oct. 11, due to the potential impact of Hurricane Michael.

UPDATE AS OF OCT. 10 AT 7:15 PM:

Due to the potential of hazardous conditions on Thursday, Oct. 11, due to Hurricane Michael, Limestone College's Day Campus classes in Gaffney have been cancelled for the entire day. Limestone College Day Campus offices are also closed on Thursday. Essential personnel only should report to campus. Please check with your supervisor to determine your essential personnel status and hours. Student-Athletes should consult with their coaches regarding games or practices. 

ORIGINAL MESSAGE: Limestone College officials are currently monitoring the weather in regard to Hurricane Michael and its potential impact on Limestone College’s Day Campus in Gaffney and Evening Program sites across the state of South Carolina.

On Thursday, Oct. 11, a decision will be made by 1 p.m. regarding possible class cancellations at our Evening Program sites. No later than 1 p.m., a notification will be emailed, and notifications will also be posted on our website and our social media sites. You will be notified if Evening classes are cancelled or if classes will run on a normal schedule.

As for the Day Campus, if there are heavy rains and high winds that could impact the safety of our students, faculty, and staff, a decision could be made this evening or early in the morning if any type of class delays or cancellations are needed. If there are delays or cancellations on the Day Campus, you will be notified via the Limestone Alert System. Any such notification would also be emailed and posted on our website and our social media sites. Please check for any delay or cancellation notifications prior to going to class early on Thursday morning. If no notifications are issued, classes will be running on a normal schedule.

For both our Evening Program and Day Campus, we do ask that you be safe on Thursday. If for any reason you do not feel safe attending a class due to the impact of Hurricane Michael, please notify your professors directly.
