Limestone Recognized For Excellence In Online Education

Limestone has once again found itself near the top of several lists that recognize the best online colleges across South Carolina and the United States.

The College was recently listed by Universities.com as the second-best Cyber Security College in South Carolina. Universities.com bases each college’s ranking on the compilation of data from reliable government sources, student surveys, college graduate interviews, and editorial review.

Limestone’s Computer Science/Computer and Information Systems Security program concentrates on the importance of computer, information, and physical security.

OnlineSchoolsReport.com recently named Limestone as having the fifth best online bachelor’s degree program in the nation for Computer Programming. The website developed a system to sum up a college’s merit based on six key stats. It  pulled stats from reputable sources, factored them together, and developed the ranking method.

TheBestSchools.org recently featured Limestone as one of the best Bachelor’s in Elementary Education programs for 2019. The website’s team reviewed all accredited online Bachelor’s in Elementary Education degree programs in the U.S. to select the Top 25 across the nation.

The purpose of Limestone’s Elementary Education program is to prepare students with the content knowledge, theoretical background, and practical experience necessary for success as classroom teachers.

Limestone is a consistent leader in delivering quality online degree programs. It was ranked earlier this year as one of the 20 Best Online Associate of Business Administration Degree Programs, the 100 Best Online Colleges in the nation, and the 10 Best Online Bachelor’s in Computer Programming Programs.

Online colleges in South Carolina are monitored by the state’s Commission on Higher Education (CHE), which mandates a comprehensive set of standards and principles for distance education. This regulatory board encourages equitable access to online education and cooperation among the state’s many colleges and universities. The CHE also prioritizes quality instruction and insists that online education programs be held to the same rigorous academic standards as their on-campus counterparts.
