2011 Scholars, Dollars & Chocolates Raises $22,154 for Scholarships |

Music and dinner along with jewelry and cash give-aways resulted in $22,154.00 being raised to benefit Limestone students from Cherokee County.
The evening included performances by the Limestone Men's Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, and iPan Steel Pan Band. Door prizes, which were provided by sponsors, included a pendant, an earring set, and $1,000.00 in cash.

Dr. Tim Baxter-Ferguson, Director of Theatre and Professor of English at Limestone College, has been nominated for the Outstanding Set Design Award in the 8th Annual Metrolina Theatre Awards (MTA) scheduled for October 9th in Charlotte, NC.

Classical Music Meets Casual Outdoor Cookout Fun at Limestone |

Limestone College will merge the worlds of classical music and relaxed outdoor cookouts on Sunday, September 18th, beginning at 3:00 p.m.
A solo recital by renowned classical guitarist Jeffrey Bianchi in the Carroll Fine Arts Building will be followed by an outdoors hotdog cookout on the lawn. Attendees are welcome to bring items such as frisbees and footballs for outdoor fun. The event is free and open to the public.

Watch Limestone Students Make Impact Globally and Locally |

During the first week of the 2011-2012 academic year, Limestone students made a huge impact at the global and local levels.
They assembled 62,034 hunger relief meals for shipment to famine-ravged parts of Africa, and volunteered at local schools and mission oriented organizations.
