Limestone Theatre was a dominant force at the 9th Annual Metrolina Theatre Awards (MTA) in Charlotte, N.C.

The November production of Dr. Faustus resulted in four outstanding awards; lead male actor, supporting female actor, direction, and costume design. The April production of Lend Me a Tenor was recognized with an Outstanding Costume Design.

It's Coming! Limestone College Announces Addition of Football Program

footballBeginning in the fall of 2014, Limestone College fans will have a new sport to cheer as the Board of Trustees, President Dr. Walt Griffin and Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Mike Cerino officially announced the addition of football as the Athletics Department's 25th sport on Wednesday, October 31.

Limestone College's Wind Ensemble and iPan Steel Drum Band treated the Lord Mayor of Westminster (United Kingdom) to a thirty minute performance on October 26th in the College's Fullerton Auditorium.

When the applause faded, the two groups were rewarded with personal invitations from the Lord Mayor, Catherine Longworth, to perform in London's New Years' Day Parade and Festival 2014.

Literary Magazine Publishes Breast Cancer Article by Limestone English Professor

A short memoir written by Erin Pushman, Associate Professor of English at Limestone College, is included in the latest issue of the literary magazine Confrontation.

With October serving as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Pushman's segmented essay "Intercourse, Recall" is especially topical as it further explores her mother's battle with the disease from a personal perspective.
