Limestone College, a private institution in upstate South Carolina, seeks a physical education pedagogy specialist to lead a newly-organized undergraduate teacher education program. This is a 9-month, tenure-track position with a highly competitive salary. This faculty member will be expected to: teach undergraduate course work in elementary and secondary curriculum and teaching methodology; supervise field and clinical experiences for all candidates; develop and maintain an assessment database; develop and submit a specialized professional association report which will meet NASPE standards.
Qualifications include an earned doctorate in physical education pedagogy, at least three years of public school teaching experience, and a thorough understanding of NCATE and NASPE standards. We would prefer a candidate with experience writing a NASPE program report. Minority applicants are encouraged to apply.
