Mike Furrey Camp

Limestone College conducted two football camps on Thursday, July 14, and two more are scheduled for next week.

The Mike Furrey Little League Camp was held during the morning, while the Limestone College Football High School Prospect Camp was conducted in the afternoon of July 14. Furrey, a former NFL standout and assistant coach at Marshall University, is entering his first season as the Saints' head coach.

Peach Festival

The 2016 South Carolina Peach Festival starts soon, and Limestone College is once again a proud sponsor and host for several events.

Limestone will be home to the Fun Run & Road Races (Timken Center), Dog Show (Timken Field) and the Miss S.C. Peach Festival Pageant (Fullerton Auditorium) on Saturday, July 9. The College's Fullerton Auditorium will also host New Talent Night on Thursday, July 14.

Currence

Miss Limestone College Keasha Currence was presented with the “Spirit Award” by judges on Saturday, June 25, at the 2016 Miss South Carolina Scholarship Pageant held at Township Auditorium in Columbia.
 

The “Spirit Award” is presented each year to the contestant the judges feel most benefitted from her Miss South Carolina experience, and saw in her a great amount of potential and growth. The award included a $500 scholarship.

Sara Eddins

Sara Jernigan Eddins from the Class of 1960 was named Limestone College’s 2016 Philanthropist of the Year during a luncheon in her honor on Friday, June 17, in her hometown of Lancaster, SC.

Miss Limestone

Miss Limestone College Keasha Currence is currently competing in the Miss South Carolina Scholarship Pageant that is taking place this week at Township Auditorium in Columbia, with the finals set for Saturday, June 25.

Preliminaries started on Tuesday and will continue through Thursday.

Prior to last year when Alayna Downey of Gaffney represented the College, the last time Limestone had a contestant in the Miss South Carolina Scholarship Pageant was 1997.

Alumni Association

The Limestone College Alumni Association includes more than 26,000 graduates and former students from Limestone College.

Alumni Weekend 2016

Reunite with friends (and meet classmates you might not have known) during the reception and luncheon for the Golden and Golden Plus Reunion Classes. You will not want to miss the Outstanding Alumni Awards Banquet where Limestone’s newest class of award winners will be inducted as Outstanding Alumni.

When is the best time to make a gift?

Any gift is welcome at any time. Our fiscal year begins July 1 and ends June 30. For tax purposes, many of our donors find it beneficial to donation prior to the end of the calendar year (December 31).

How much should I pledge?

You should pledge whatever amount is comfortable for you. Our goal is to receive gifts from everyone who has benefited directly or indirectly from their experience at Limestone College. With this level of support, we will readily satisfy our immediate annual needs and make our future more secure.

Do I have to pay my pledge all at once?

No. You can pay your pledge in full or pay in installments throughout the year. Let the Office of Institutional Advancement know which is most convenient for you. It is extremely important, however, that you fulfill your pledge within the fiscal year that it was made.

Yes. If you would like to make a contribution with Visa or MasterCard, simply call the Office of Institutional Advancement.

To find out if your employer has such a gift-matching policy, call your personnel office. You can also call the Office of Institutional Advancement for a list of companies that are currently matching gifts to Limestone..
