Olympics

Former Limestone College swimmer Sean Gunn has been selected to swim for his home country of Zimbabwe in the 2016 Olympic Games....

The Harare native, who is currently a rising senior at the University of Kentucky, will compete in the 100-meter freestyle, an event in which he is the national record holder.

Gunn earned All-America honors in both the 50 and 100 freestyle at the Division II Men’s NCAA Championships while at Limestone College.

Furrey-Martz

It might seem a bit unusual for National Football League greats like quarterback Kurt Warner and wide receiver Isaac Bruce to inquire about fall football practice at a small NCAA Division II program in the South.

But that’s what happens when the school is Limestone College and the head coach is former NFL player Mike Furrey who got together with his former teammates recently for a charity flag football game.

Board of Trustees

A total of six new members were recently named to the Limestone College Board of Trustees and will serve five-year terms, while another member joins to fill an unexpired term.

Charles Wyatt

To better serve Limestone alumni, parents, and friends of the College, the Department of Communications has announced a new publication schedule for its two annual magazines.

Limestone Today will be published each year in August. Limestone Today is an all-encompassing magazine that shares many of the major campus developments, feature articles, class notes, graduation lists, and more.

Alumni Association

The Limestone College Alumni Association includes more than 26,000 graduates and former students from Limestone College.
