Value of Liberal Arts Education

Arts and Letters is committed to the ideals of the liberal arts. Its curriculum is designed to introduce students to the full range of human experiences through the study of cultural heritage, forms of artistic and literary expressions, patterns of social and political behavior, and methods of critical inquiry. The mission of Arts and Letters is to prepare students for rigorous, intellectual and creative inquiry leading to their full development as human beings and to their responsible engagement with society.
Music Ensemble

Limestone College faculty members will present a recital on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 7:30 p.m. in the Carroll Recital Hall. Performing will be Dr. Chip Hill (clarinet), Dr. David Thompson (piano), Dr. Cathy Siarris (voice), Dr. Gena Poovey (voice), and adjunct instructors David Hodges (trumpet) and Eric Henson (low brass). The public is invited to attend, and there is no admission charge.

The 2015 nation-wide list of "Military Friendly Schools" has been released, and Limestone College was once again one of those included in the latest edition. Limestone, which has been named for six straight years, was one of 23 schools to make the list from South Carolina.
