The Limestone College men’s and women’s basketball teams are both ready for their close up on Saturday, Jan. 30, when they face the University of Mount Olive as part of the NCAA Division II National Showcase on the American Sports Network.


The nationally fifth-ranked women’s basketball team will tip off the national broadcast at 4 p.m. live from the Kornagay Arena on the campus of Mount Olive, followed by the men’s game at 6 p.m.


This is a photo taken recently for a fire truck manufacturer for its upcoming national calendar it will distribute to showcase its vehicles.

The City of Gaffney recently purchased a new fire engine and requested that its photo for the calendar be taken at Limestone College.

State House Visit

The Limestone College men's lacrosse team was recognized for a second straight year at the South Carolina State House in Columbia on Thursday, Jan. 28, after successfully defending its NCAA Division II National Championship during the 2015 season.

Following a tour of the State House, the national champs met with South Carolina Lieutenant Governor Henry McMaster, who took time to congratulate the team for its tremendous accomplishment of winning back-to-back titles.
