What is STEAM and Space Education 2022?

The STEAM and Space Education 2022 conference is a two-day virtual event for educators interested in STEAM and Space.

*Note: Although this event is virtual, in-person meet-ups will be held on campus at Limestone University for interested participants.

What is the goal of this conference?

The aim of the STEAM & Space Education Conference is to share best practices in STEAM pedagogy to inspire PreK-12 students to pursue STEAM & Space-related career pathways.

The theme of the 2nd Annual STEAM & Space Education Conference is "Cultivating Connections in STEAM and Space Education to Unite Educators, Families, Students and Community Organizations."

Why is this conference important?

It brings together educators, industry leaders, and others who play a role in STEAM and Space education to share ideas and resources.

Who organizes this conference?

The conference is organized by the Center for STEAM & Space Education at Limestone University and Aldrin Family Foundation.

When is this conference?

This conference will be held virtually on Tuesday, August 2nd - Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022 from 9:30 am - 3:30 pm EST each day.

You're amazing! Fill out this presenter application form by Friday, May 6th, 2022 (Space Day). Accepted presenters will receive a free registration. Presentations should align with one of the following conference strands:

  • Connecting Educators: Inspiring and Supporting a Network of STEAM and Space Teachers
  • Connecting Communities: Uniting K-16 STEAM and Space Education with Collaborative Partnerships
  • Connecting Students: Engaging Students in Authentic STEAM and Space Integrations
