Population Health for RNs

This focus of this course is the community or population as client considering diverse individuals, families, and aggregates within the population. The emphasis is assessment of risk, health promotion, epidemiology, and population based care and management. This course includes a practicum in which the student will have the ability build on knowledge and apply community health nursing concepts. Learning experiences are individualized and guided by the selected preceptor and course faculty. This is a core RN-BSN course. This RN-BSN course includes a clinical component.
