Student Spring Research Symposium Set For April 27 & 28

Limestone College’s A.J. Eastwood Library will host a student research symposium on Monday, April 27, and Tuesday April 28.

Topics will include the areas of Psychology, Criminal Justice, Art, Business, and Education.

According to Lizah Ismail, the Director of the Library, the goals of the symposium are to allow the opportunity for students to share, discuss and interact with their peers as well as with the Limestone community regarding their research or creative work; to encourage inter-disciplinary collaborations; to provide a venue where quality works can be seen as examples to be modeled after by students the following year; and to offer a convenient platform for students to experience presenting beyond the classroom.

“We are greatly encouraged by the response we had received for this inaugural event and we look forward to organizing another symposium during the fall semester,” Ismail said.

Presentations on Monday, April 27, will be held between 10 a.m. and 12 noon, and again from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. The following day, presentations will take place between 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
