If it earns a victory over Merrimack College on Sunday, May 26, Limestone College will move into sole possession of second place on the list of all-time NCAA Division II Men’s Lacrosse National Championships.

The Saints made history on Sunday, May 19, 2019, when they defeated Indianapolis 16-7 in the national semifinals. That propelled Limestone into its record-breaking 12th National Championship appearance. Prior to this season, the Saints were tied with Adelphi with 11 title game appearances.

The NCAA Division II Men's Lacrosse National Championship Game on Sunday, May 16, at 1 p.m. will be broadcast live via webstream. The contest will not be available on television.

The undefeated and No.1-ranked Limestone College men’s lacrosse team will depart by bus on Thursday, May 23, at 7:45 a.m. from the Bob Campbell Field House on Leadmine Street in Gaffney.

The Limestone community, family members, friends, and fans are invited to come out and cheer on the team and coaches as they leave.

The Saints will stop for a practice session in Virginia later in the day before moving on to Philadelphia to prepare for Sunday’s NCAA Division II National Championship against Merrimack College starting at 1 p.m. from Lincoln Financial Field.

Prevatte Statue Rendering Updated

The third and final dedication at Limestone College this spring will take place on Thursday, June 6, at 10 a.m. with a ceremony to officially open the Bob Prevatte Athletic Complex.

The highlight of the event will be the unveiling of the Bob Prevatte statue that will be located near the Saints’ football practice facility off Leadmine Street in Gaffney.

Men's Lacrosse Semifinal Game

The Limestone College men's lacrosse team knocked off the University of Indianapolis 16-7 at Saints Field on Sunday, May 19, to advance to the NCAA Division II National Championship Game on Sunday, May 26, at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, which is home to NFL's Eagles. The Saints will take on Merrimack at 1 p.m.

Vyncint Smith - NFL

Limestone College was prominantly featured on a video about former Saints' wide receiver Vyncint Smith who was a rookie with the National Football League's Houston Texans during the 2018 season.

The video was produced by the Houston Texans' marketing department and it is now featured on the team's website.
