Limestone College has eased the way that its students obtain their textbooks by entering into an agreement for eCampus.com to virtually handle those sales.

The College’s new textbook vendor, eCampus.com, is an industry leader for price, selection, and customer service. The company can be used to order new and used textbooks, digital textbooks, new and used rental textbooks, custom published materials, course packs, software, materials published or distributed electronically, and supplies.

S.C. Peach Festival Ad 2019

It's July, so that means the South Carolina Peach Festival is coming soon! Limestone College is excited about once again being a sponsor of the SCPF this year! The event takes place July 18-21.

Limestone is home to one S.C. Peach Festival event on Thursday, July 18, and two more on Saturday, July 20.

New Talent Night starts on July 18 at 7 p.m. inside the College's Fullerton Auditorium.

The Road Race begins on July 20 at 7 p.m. at Limestone's Timken Center Gymnasium.

Social Work Badge

For those searching for one of the best online Social Work degree programs in the nation, they need only to look to Limestone College.

The website BestColleges.com recently released its Best Online Bachelor’s in Social Work rankings and Limestone’s program came in at No. 19 in the nation.

Of the 25 schools to be named to the list, Limestone was the only one recognized from South Carolina. BestColleges.com rated over 700 online Bachelor of Social Work programs when it comprised its 2019 rankings.

Diamond Resorts Sport Management

Limestone College currently has 13 students interning with Diamond Resorts in Orlando this summer.

Bland is working with the Diamond Resorts Corporate Sales team, while Lafler is working with the Diamond Resorts staff assisting with the LPGA Tournament of Champions.

For the third consecutive year, Limestone College’s website has been named the best in Cherokee County by readers of The Cherokee Chronicle.

The College’s website address is www.limestone.edu. The site features information on Limestone’s Day Campus, Online & Evening Programs, and the MBA Program. It also includes recent press releases, upcoming events, giving opportunities, and more.

The newspaper’s 19th annual “Readers Choice Awards” will be released in full as part of its edition on Thursday, June 27.

New Trustees 2019

A total of five new members were recently elected to the Limestone College Board of Trustees and will serve five-year terms beginning on July 1.

“Limestone is proud to welcome new and returning Trustees,” said Limestone President Dr. Darrell Parker. “We are fortunate to have dedicated alumni and friends of the College who are strongly committed to the institution and its mission. Henry Hiott

Henry Hiott, Associate Professor of Social Work at Limestone College, was recently appointed by South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster to serve on the Coastal Empire Mental Health Board of Directors.

Coastal Empire Mental Health serves the citizens of Allendale, Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton, and Jasper Counties.

Team Canada Lacrosse

The Canadian Men’s Indoor Lacrosse Team has announced its pool of 28 players – and no college has more representatives on the squad than Limestone.

Saints alums Shayne Jackson, Colton Watkinson, and Brett Mydske made the list that was announced earlier this week.

All of the 28 athletes are professional players in the National Lacrosse League (NLL) and some are Team Canada alumni. From the pool, a final roster of 23 will be selected.

Knipe - UK Conference

Limestone College Preceptor of English and Modern Languages Dr. Jack Knipe will present research at The Ninth Cambridge Conference on Language Endangerment at the University of Cambridge on July 2.

At the upcoming conference being held at the prestigious research university in Cambridge, United Kingdom, Knipe will present his study based on his recent time in Scotland.
