Limestone College will be providing shuttle services for its students.

With the start of the new Limestone College football season underway, we wanted to remind our students, alumni, staff, and fans about our tradition at Limestone football games, and all other Saints athletics events, when the Limestone College Alma Mater is played.

Throwing an “L” is our best non-verbal way to show school spirit at Limestone. You’ll want to join the team, cheerleaders, dance team, and band by giving an "L" during the playing of the Limestone alma mater at the end of games.

Limestone Professor Dr. Alex Richardson, who is the chair of the College’s Department of English & Communications, will soon appear on the series “By The River” that airs on the South Carolina Educational Television.

The Communication Studies program at the University of South Carolina Beaufort has partnered with South Carolina Educational Television to produce the show that focuses on South Carolina & Southern authors.

Limestone College Professor of Physical Education Dr. Felicia Cavallini recently had research published that might just help you ward off Old Man Winter.

Cavallini’s research, entitled “Achieving the Physical Activity Guidelines during the Wintertime While Engaging in MyWinter and MyWinterHoliday Activity,” has been published in the Journal of Physical Activity Research.

Only two private colleges from the Palmetto State have landed on a prestigious Top 50 ranking list for the second straight year, and one of those includes Limestone.

The U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings are out for 2020, and Limestone is ranked 49th in the category for Best Regional Colleges In The South.

Limestone was also ranked in the Top 50 for 2019, joining only Newberry College as private institutions from South Carolina making the list in back-to-back years.

Gaylord Perry Scholarship

During a special ceremony on Monday, Aug. 26, Brian Forbes, a student-athlete at Limestone College, was awarded the Gaylord Perry Scholarship, which will fully cover his college costs this academic year. The award was made possible through the institution’s partnership with Diamond Resorts.
