At the beginning of each school year, the Christian Education and Leadership Program leads the campus in packaging 50-100,000 hunger relief meals through an organization called Rise Against Hunger. Since 2011, Limestone has packaged over 650,000 meals. Throughout the year CELP students are regularly involved with Cherokee County Meals on Wheels, the Gaffney Soup Kitchen, Peach Center Ministries, and the Salvation Army. Internationally, we have conducted 8 mission trips to Brazil, 8 to Belize and 1 to Zimbabwe. We have an ongoing mission in Belize where we work in partnership with a local ministry, Kidz Konnect 4 Jesus, to share the gospel, distribute relief meals, and help develop sustainable farming practices and industries.
