Football Team Entrance

The public is invited to attend a news conference on Friday, February 16, as Limestone College announces its new head football coach.

The press conference will take place in the main dining room of Stephenson Dining Hall & Conference Center starting at 10 a.m.

Following an extensive national search, the Limestone College Athletics Department will be introducing the candidate who has been tabbed as program’s third head football coach.

Limestone Hall of Fame

The Limestone College Athletics Department recently announced its 2018 Hall of Fame Class, a group of trailblazers that features three former standout student-athletes, a pair of special inductees, and a championship team.

The 22nd Hall of Fame class consists of former athletes Will Doyle '94 (men's lacrosse), Derek Thomas '03 (men's soccer), and Michelle Lare '04 (women's lacrosse), along with the 2006 Men's Soccer Team and special inductees Todd Shanesy (media) and Alan Welch (staff).

Following the Christmas break, Limestone College re-opened today (Wednesday, January 3) with Dr. Darrell Parker as its 22nd President.

After an extensive national search for over seven months, Dr. Parker was introduced on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, as the next President of Limestone.

Dr. Walt Griffin, who had led the College since 1992, announced in April of 2017 that he would be retiring at the end of the fall semester.

Dr. Parker has been serving since 2012 as the Dean and Professor of Economics for the College of Business at Western Carolina University.

Congratulations to the Limestone College Class of 2017!

We are so proud of you!
