Music Department Will Be Very Busy In April

The Limestone College music department has several exciting scheduled during the month of April.

On Tuesday, April 5, the iPan Band (Steel Pan Ensemble) and Percussion Ensemble will be in concert at Fullerton Auditorium starting at 7:30 p.m. The iPan Band will be under the direction of Dr. Patrick Carney, while the Percussion Ensemble will be conducted by Jonan Keeny.

A week later on April 12, the Limestone College Wind Ensemble will perform at Fullerton Auditorium at 7:30 p.m., with Dr. Carney conducting.

On Tuesday, April 19, at 7:30 p.m., a Chamber Concert takes place at Fullerton Auditorium featuring performances by the Brass Ensemble (David Hodges, director), Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble and Quartet (Eric Henson, director), and Jazz Ensemble (John Parks, director).

The Limestone College Chorus will be performing Parts II and III of Handel’s “Messiah” on Sunday, April 24, at 3 p.m., in the sanctuary of Gaffney’s First Baptist Church.

The public is invited to attend all of the events listed above and admission is free.
