Limestone Now Offering Professional Development Opportunites

The Limestone College Center of Career and Professional Development is now offering online self-paced professional development opportunities for those seeking additional training and development.

The focus of the new “Think Limestone” program is to equip professionals who desire to pursue new career opportunities or enhance skills needed for their current employment.

“Limestone’s overall mission is to provide opportunities for personal and professional growth,” noted Lindsay Bartholomew, Director of Career and Professional Development at the College. “With industries, such as manufacturing, being so prevalent in our area, being able to offer relevant professional development opportunities to our community further emphasizes Limestone’s commitment to empowering individuals through that journey of growth.”

The non-credit courses are curated by industry professionals and subject matter experts to serve the community’s workforce development needs.

Through a partnership with MindEdge Learning, a leading provider of quality online higher education and professional development, “Think Limestone” course offerings consist of Six Sigma and Lean, Agile project management, data analytics, leadership, and more.

Courses include videos, scenario-based training, and application practice. These on-demand, self-paced courses provide a customized experience and are another resource offered through the Center to promote professional and lifelong learning for the local community.
