Limestone Gets High Marks For Online Bachelor's Programs

The list of “Best Online Bachelor’s Programs” was recently released by U.S. News & World Report and Limestone College was one of five institutions from South Carolina listed in the Top 200.

More than 1,200 programs were surveyed by U.S. News & World Report and only regionally accredited institutions were evaluated. To make comparisons between programs, the publication chose factors that weighed how the programs were being delivered and their effectiveness in awarding affordable degrees in a reasonable amount of time.

Institutions were assessed based on student engagement, faculty credentials and training, student services and technology, and peer reputation.

In addition to Limestone, other schools from South Carolina on the prestigious Top 200 list included Charleston Southern University, USC Aiken, Lander University, and North Greenville University.

According to the report, the vast majority of students enrolled in the ranked programs have earned at least some college credit. They are more likely to be working professionals in their 20s to 40s looking to advance in or change their careers.

The Limestone College Online & Evening Program, which has a current enrollment of over 2,100 students, provides the opportunity for working adults to further their education, work full-time, and be there for their families. Classes are offered online and through evening classes at eight convenient locations throughout South Carolina.
