Limestone Club Collecting Items To Assist With Hurricane Harvey Relief Efforts

As part of Hurricane Harvey relief efforts, Limestone College is now collecting supplies to send to the Houston area.

Limestone’s Pre-Health Professions Club is spearheading the project.

Items needed include bottled water, canned goods, toiletries, diapers of all sizes, baby formula, feminine care products, dry dog and cat food, and first aid items.

The College’s students, faculty, and staff may drop off supplies in the Student Services office through 12 noon on Wednesday, Sept. 13.

Supplies will also be collected at Limestone’s home football game against Benedict College this Saturday, Sept. 9, at 7 p.m. at Gaffney High School’s “Reservation” stadium.

SMA Diesel Service in Chesnee will be transporting the items to Texas.
