Founders FCU Stadium/Bob Prevatte Field Dedication On April 1

Prior to the start of the Limestone College-Newberry baseball game on Wednesday at 3 p.m., representatives from Founders Federal Credit Union will be recognized. With Founders FCU obtaining the naming rights to the stadium, Limestone has made great improvements to the facility recently.

Also, the field was originally named after legendary Gaffney High football coach and Cherokee County sports figure Bob Prevatte in 1988. Coach Prevatte will be on hand Wednesday as a new plaque in his honor is unveiled between the top and bottom of the first inning. Coach Prevatte is seen in the photo accompanying this article.
