Remember... Stay calm.  Help others remain calm.  When you are reporting an emergency situation give concise, accurate answers to the 911 operator.
Do not hang up until told to do so.    911 will dispatch police, fire or EMS services.
Then call Public Safety phone number is 488-8344; on campus ext. 8344, and advise them of the incident.

Public Safety will respond to all fire alarms, minor illnesses and injuries to students. To report a crime: Dial Public Safety - phone number is 488-8344—on campus ext. 8344.

IN AN EMERGENCY:  Please DO NOT hang up the phone until the operator has obtained necessary information. The operator may ask a variety of questions to properly inform the responding personnel of the situation.

Students and their parents are understandably concerned about the issue of safety on university campuses. Limestone College is also concerned and understands its responsibility in contributing to a safe and secure campus environment.

Although Limestone has experienced a lower incidence of crime than surrounding areas, our community is not immune to crime. The number of incidents occurring on the campus can be reduced if all members of the community practice everyday precautions that will help to make a safe community.
