Physical Education and Athletic Training

It is the mission of both the Physical Education and the Athletic Training Education Programs at Limestone College to provide students with well-rounded instruction and hands-on clinical experiences, which will ultimately prepare them for a career in the field.

The Physical Education and Athletic Training Department is one of the largest programs on the Limestone College campus. Within the department, the following majors are available: Physical Education/General, Physical Education/Teacher Certification (K-12), Physical Education with a concentration in Fitness/Wellness Programs, Athletic Training, and Sports Management. In addition, a student may also minor in Coaching.
