Basic Concepts of the Internet and the World Wide Web

This course covers basic Internet and World Wide Web concepts: Navigating the Web with a browser, configuring and using an e-mail program, searching the Web with popular search engines, obtaining reliable information from the Web, researching the basics of Internet security, and creating web pages using HTML. Prerequisite: This course may not be taken concurrently with EN 090. Credit, 3 hours.
