Limestone College's Department of Physical Education-Teacher Licensure K-12 was a prominent presence at the 2012 South Carolina Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance Convention. The event was held November 9-11 in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Holiday Classics from Near and Far to be Featured in Community Chorus Concert this Sunday

ChorusThe Limestone College and Community Chorus along with the Limestone Men's Ensemble will present a concert filled with international Christmas carols, seasonal folk songs, and holiday classics this Sunday, Nov. 18, at 3:00 p.m. in the College's Fullerton Auditorium.

Entitled "Holidays from East to West," the concert is free and open to the public.

Limestone to Host Dec. 1st Chili Contest to Help Future Teachers

Chili CookoffThe weather may be cooling off but the Limestone College Teacher Cadet program will bring a little heat to the area with its First Annual Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, December 1.

 The fun—and tastings—are scheduled for 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. in the Timken East Building (at the corner of East O'Neal and Griffith Streets in the former location of the YMCA). All proceeds generated by the event will be earmarked for the March 2013 Teacher Cadet Conference to be held on the Limestone campus.

Success From First Annual Choral Celebrations Clinic Leads to 2013 Edition

Choral Celebrations WebForty-five students from Gaffney High School, Granard Middle School, and Gaffney Middle School amassed on the Limestone campus October 19 to take part in the first choral clinic and performed a concert in the College's Fullerton Auditorium in the evening to show what they had accomplished.
