College and Community Chorus to Present Fall Concert
Lc_chorus_almost_time_hand_out_final_webThe Limestone College and Community Chorus will perform its fall concert Sunday, November 14th at 6:30 p.m. at Grassy Pond Baptist Church (254 Grassy Pond Road, Gaffney). Admission is free and the public is invited.

Dr. Gena Poovey, Conductor and Director of Choral Activities at Limestone, commented that "the concerts have traditionally been held in Fullerton Auditorium, but this year we wanted to accept an invitation from community chorus member Dave Vassey to sing at Grassy Pond Baptist Church where he serves as Minister of Music. We have performed in Gaffney churches before, so this is exciting to reach out into a new area of the county, and share our music with folks in a neighborhood who may not have attended one of our concerts before. The church family has made it very clear that they welcome all members of the community to attend, so we hope our usual audience members will join us."
