Like the books, the musical follows the adventures and misadventures of two lovable amphibians-Frog, played by Limestone senior and Gaffney resident Evan Goetz and Toad, played by Matthew Ferguson, also a Limestone senior who hails from Leesville. From Spring through Winter and back to Spring, the musical celebrates the trials and tribulations of a great friendship. Children will love the colorful animal characters and lively songs, and parents will appreciate the quality of the musical itself. A Year With Frog and Toad , though a musical for young audiences, spent some time on Broadway and was nominated for Best Musical, Best Score, and Best Book. An unusual feat for a musical of this kind. |
