Kevin Pucetas ’06 had been nothing but a winner as a minor league pitcher, fashioning a 53-26 record with the Giants and Royals from 2006-11.
But near the end of spring training earlier this year, the Broome High product was not in the plans of Kansas City, even though he pitched at Triple-A Omaha last year and had been on the Royals’ 40-man roster. |

Limestone’s proclivity for community involvement continued on Wednesday, June 27th, as representatives of the College’s Student Alumni Leadership Council (SALC) presented a check to the United Way of the Piedmont.
SALC is comprised of students who serve as ambassadors for Limestone and represent the College to its alumni, campus and community constituencies. |

Few people seem as confident with the path they have chosen as Tommie Storms ‘81 obviously is. “There is great satisfaction in just answering the call when it comes,” she said. “And this was it for me.”
Storms is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of the American Association of adaptedSPORTS® Programs, based in Atlanta. AAASP’s mission is to develop a standardized infrastructure of school-based sports teams for kids with physical disabilities.
