|TILT Information for Faculty|
TILT (located in Blackboard) presents basic research skills which are presented in a fun way, using terms and jargon that appeal to the undergraduate. It does not teach tools specific to Limestone College's Library databases, catalog, or web site, nor is it intended to eliminate the use of library instruction. TILT is an educational service designed to introduce students to research sources and skills.
TILT is divided into three sections (modules):
Using TILT at Limestone should be particularly valuable now that we have Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) courses but it can be used in any course using research. Ideally, TILT would be an assignment to be completed before doing research and before any library instruction. You can decide which modules you want your students to complete. If you chose all three modules, you will eventually get three score summary pages.
